Conditions d’utilisation
La version française de cette nouvelle version arrive bientôt. Voici la version anglaise.
1. Who can use Jimp
13 and over (14 in Quebec; higher in some countries). Buying and selling: 18+.
2. Your content
You own what you post. You give Jimp a licence to store and show it so the features work. Don't post anything you don't have the right to, or anything that breaks the Community Guidelines.
3. AI features
Outfit suggestions, tags, size tips, price suggestions, listing drafts, Ask Jimp answers and Try it on results are made automatically and can be wrong. They're ideas, not professional advice. Ask Jimp never does anything on its own: actions (alerts, saved searches, planner, listing drafts) only happen when you tap Confirm.
4. Daily 10
When it's switched on, the app may ask you to pick between two outfits ten times before it opens (at most twice a day). If pairs don't load quickly, the app opens anyway.
5. Marketplace
- Jimp is a place for people and businesses to buy and sell clothes. Jimp isn't the seller.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. After payment, the money stays on a Buyer Protection hold until the buyer confirms delivery or 3 days after delivery. Jimp doesn't provide escrow services.
- Fees: 8% of the item price from the seller's payout (5% for Jimp Pro sellers), shown before you list. Buyers pay no Jimp fee.
- Problems: report within 3 days of delivery (or after 10 days if it never arrived). If you can't agree, Jimp decides; the payment stays on hold until then. This doesn't take away your legal rights.
- Listing boosts lift a listing in results for a set time and are marked "Boosted". They're a monthly allowance, not sold for money.
- Jimp Approved sellers are checked against their sales, ratings, shipping, returns and measurement accuracy, and rank higher. Approval can be removed.
- First dibs and early access give some users a head start (in minutes) on new listings or drops.
6. Seller accounts
- A seller account is separate from your personal account and is required to sell new clothes. It can be linked to your personal or Pro account under one login.
- You must give true details, agree to the seller terms, returns policy and product rules, and set up payouts with Stripe.
- Business sellers' required details are shown to buyers (see Privacy Policy section 7).
4.
7. Jimp Pro
A subscription through the App Store. Which features are in Pro can change; the upgrade screen always shows the current list. Cancel any time in your App Store settings.
8. Creators and links
Some shop links are affiliate links: Jimp may earn money if you buy, and it never changes your price. When a post tags pieces, the person who posted it keeps the credit for purchases that start from that post.
9. Content made by Jimp
Some Explorer boards are made by Jimp from real shop products. Images made with AI are labelled.
10. Your account
Keep your login safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
11. Community Guidelines
Follow the Community Guidelines (in Settings → Terms & Privacy). We may remove content or accounts that break them.
12. More marketplace rules
- Jimp is a place for people to buy and sell pre-owned fashion from each other. Jimp isn't the seller.
- Sellers must own the item, describe it honestly (size, condition, flaws, measurements), use real photos of the actual item, and ship within 3 days of payment.
- Buyers pay the item price plus shipping. Payment is taken by Stripe and stays on a Buyer Protection hold until delivery is confirmed (or 3 days after delivery). Stripe processes all payments.
- Fees: Jimp keeps 8% of the item price from the seller's payout (5% for Jimp Pro sellers). The fee is shown before you list. Buyers pay no Jimp fee.
- Buyer Protection hold: the money is released to the seller when the buyer confirms it arrived, or 3 days after delivery if the buyer doesn't report a problem.
- Problems: within 3 days of delivery the buyer can report that an item is not as described or arrived damaged. If an item hasn't arrived 10 days after shipping, the buyer can report that too. The seller can reply. If you can't agree, Jimp decides, and the payment stays on the Buyer Protection hold until then. Jimp's decision is final for the marketplace, but doesn't take away your legal rights.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. When an item is refunded because it's not as described, the buyer may be asked to return it.
- Sellers are responsible for any taxes on their sales.
- Don't take payment or arrange sales outside Jimp for items you found on Jimp.
13. Prohibited items
You can't list: counterfeits or replicas; stolen goods; items you don't own; used underwear, or used swimwear without a hygiene liner; items recalled for safety; weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco or vapes; adult or sexual products; items made from endangered animals; hazardous materials; digital goods, gift cards or services; anything that isn't fashion (clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, jewellery); anything illegal to sell in Canada.
14. Ending your account
You can stop using Jimp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, commit fraud or put others at risk. Money held for completed orders will still be settled.
15. Liability
Jimp is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Jimp isn't liable for indirect losses, or for items bought or sold between users beyond the marketplace protections above. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law (including Quebec's).
16. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll ask you to accept important changes in the app before they apply.
